Then, finally they shut down the matchmaking to only saying you can’t marry someone if they’re your family or a distant relative. Sooooooo… like a week later, after Jolie is done morning Brant, she tells them valuable information about the Neverseen and the gang takes them down. Jolie collapsed on to her knees shaking, tears streaming out of her eye, she was saying “He can’t, He isn’t, it could be a misunderstanding.” Sophie shook her head and quietly mumbled, “No, I saw his dead body.” “NO! He- he couldn’t have, right? He… got lost right?” On three, Grady said something Jolie never would have expected. “Jolie,” Grady said putting an arm around her shoulders, “I … don’t know how to say this…” Then Sophie, Jolie and her parents go outside by the pastures to break the news about Brant. After the group asks a million questions Sophie and Jolie go back to Havenfield where there is an epic reunion between Jolie, Grady and Edaline. Sorry, something cut me off! Anyway, Sophie and the Neverseen were having a big showdown and Jolie using her ability to help defeat them. Then, she unlocks the ultimate ability, saves her friends, and defeats the Neverseen – once and for all! Wouldn’t that be awesome? She realizes how extraordinary she truly is. It is then, when she realizes that she’s not worthless. And the Black Swan, putting all their faith in her, knowing she can fix everything. Grady and Edaline promising to love her no matter what. What was the purpose of Project Moonlark anyway? She’s only a teenager. Every strike, every hit, every cry from her friends makes her think about how worthless she is. But, it’s too late, and she’s about to watch them be murdered. If she’d been stronger, maybe she could’ve saved her friends.

She doesn’t care that the Neverseen are watching her cry, and that they are laughing at her. They try to convince her that it’s not her fault, but then they are pulled away from each other, leaving Sophie with her tears. When the time comes, Sophie is crying and tells her friends that she’s failed them.

They are almost out of the hideout when the big baddies of the Neverseen find them! They then tell Sophie that they will let her watch her friends be killed, before they kill her. Then, when things seem hopeless, Alvar helps them escape. So, Sophie and her friends (Keefe, Biana, Tam, Linh, Fitz, Dex, Marella, Maruca, Jensi, Wylie, maybe Stina) are trying to save the world (or something), when they get captured by the Neverseen! They are taken and imprisoned in a VERY secure Neverseen hideout. I am reading Nightfall right now, so please don’t be angry at me if I get the details wrong! I was just thinking that this would be a great conclusion to the series.
